Dr. Choi is a board-certified Orthodontist and a diplomate of the American Board Of Orthodontics. Dr. Choi graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, attaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Her commitment to excellence continued at Tufts, where she obtained certificates in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Choi received several merit-based and honorary awards, including the Bates Research Fellowship, the Everett Shapiro Award for outstanding achievement in orthodontics, and the Tufts Merit Scholarship for sustained academic excellence during her entire four years in dental school. While attending Tufts, Dr. Choi was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and the Dean's list for the Highest Performance on National Dental Boards parts 1 and 2.
During her residency, Dr. Choi focused her research on establishing a correlation between cervical vertebrae and facial growth. This research culminated in a presentation at the annual meeting of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO). To stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Choi regularly attends professional meetings, ensuring that her practice incorporates state-of-the-art knowledge to provide the best possible treatment for her patients.
